Meet your owner/instructor Kim Murdock. I instruct ballet, tap, hip hop, acro, jazz, tumbling and musical theater.

I started dancing and tumbling at a young age in the Tulsa area. I was a member of the Bishop Kelley Pom squad throughout High School and majored in Modern dance my first year at the University of Oklahoma, Gooo Sooners!!! I later went on to get my degree in Recreational therapy with an emphasis in early childhood. This education not only taught me the physiological/kinesiological foundation but gave me a better understanding of the importance of establishing healthy living habits at a young age to continue throughout your lifetime. Our bodies should be respected and conditioned whether it be through dance, tumbling, or any form of physical exercise.

After owning and running my own fitness studio as well as teaching yoga, personal training, working as a Recreational therapist and dance instructor from coast (St Pete Beach, Fl) to coast (San Diego, Ca), I am beyond thrilled to be back home bringing my vision to life - a studio that is accepting of all ages and passions with the confidence that my talented instructors are the very best you will find. Together, we will encourage and embrace the spirit of each individual that walks through the door. I am most fortunate for this to happen in a community in which my own family lives and thrives. My eldest son Jackson, a graduate of Bixby HS and freshman at OSU, is a gifted artist and musician as you will see with his amazing work throughout the studio (including our S2S PA logo). My oldest daughter, Zoe, a senior at Bixby HS, is an active member/officer of student council, honor roll student, and an inspiring dancer/performer. She is also a teacher assistant. My youngest, Alex, is a 5th grader at Bixby Central, a Bixby cheerleader, soccer player, and dancer/performer at S2S PA. They have been an intricate part of making my vision come to life. Their support along with the support of my 2nd "dance" family, without a doubt, make Soul II Sole Performing Arts the grandest studio to be a part of!
